The residency is well-suited for a single artist, an entire workgroup, a band, or a full production team.
Story Villa has three accommodation rooms, with the largest one comfortably accommodating a small family. The total space in the house is approximately 330 square meters. With creative arrangements, the house can accommodate 6 – 8 individuals, and for short periods, even more.

On the ground floor, there is a cozy and well-equipped kitchen and a spacious living room for communal use. The soapstone fireplaces in the living room and workspace provide a comforting warmth on chilly days.

Sustainability is at the core of the residency’s values. The house is heated with geothermal energy, and efforts are made to use renewable energy sources for electricity. Recycling is emphasized in everyday choices.
The house has a sauna, two showers, and three toilets. Its amenities include a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, television, and fast wireless 100 Mbps internet connection. The residency is also equipped with a piano and a guitar a variety of tools.

“Story Villa is a place where time seemed to stand still for me. A gorgeous and unique space filled with history and character. It was the perfect place to reflect, plan, experiment, and find new focus away from life’s usual distractions. The abundance of space and light, coupled with a sense of cozy homeness, made the experience truly special.”
Kane Carrol, artist, Great Britain

The spacious workspaces are located in the other end of the house, occupying the former classrooms. The workspace is equipped with a water point, and arrangements can be made for the use of looms.
